11th Annual New Jersey Networking Event & Dinner Recap

Back by popular demand, on Thursday, April 28, the British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia hosted the 11th Annual New Jersey Networking Event & Dinner at the British Chip Shop. The evening featured traditional British pub food: sausage rolls, Welsh rarebit, fish & chips, bangers & mash, minced beef & onion pie, and veggie curry for dinner, and a choice of sticky toffee pudding with custard or sugar-crusted apple pie with custard for dessert. London Calling, Entire, Knightlite, Being Earnest and Ample Vengeance were the specialty brews provided by The King’s Road Brewery. No one left hungry or sober! A spirited group of BABCPHL members and non-members gathered for this signature annual event for a fun night of networking, raffle prizes and good food and drinks.

BABCPHL prior President and current Membership Chairman, Howard Silverstone, MBE, CPA, CFF, FCA, CFE, Director, Forensic Resolutions, Inc. was the Master of Ceremonies, leading the evening with jokes that kept everyone engaged and entertained. Before inviting people to choose their seats for dinner, there was a business card raffle draw for generous gifts donated by The British Chip Shop, The King’s Road Brewery, and the Philadelphia Union. Also, The English Gardener Gift Shop offered guests a 10% discount on all purchases throughout the evening.

On Thursday, March 7, 2022, four BABCPHL Club Level members, Duane Morris LLP, Johnson, Kendall & Johnson, Inc., Penn Medicine and the Welsh Government sponsored “Tee Time with the British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia” at TopGolf in Mount Laurel, New Jersey.

Guests enjoyed business networking and socializing as a sport during this special two-hour event. Food and drink were served, and music was piped through the sound system as people drove golf balls with colleagues, clients and friends. Attendees relished hanging-out in person and competing for first place at this state of the art sports entertainment complex.
