Welcoming Mark McCarron to our Board of Directors

Mark McCarron is a Partner and the Chief Investment Officer at Wescott, where he leads the firm’s investment research efforts and co-chairs the Investment Committee. He works closely with Wescott’s investment team to design and implement portfolio solutions for clients, helping them navigate constantly changing markets. Mark also plays a key role in communicating Wescott’s investment thinking through research, commentaries, and other client-facing insights.

Mark brings deep experience advising ultra-high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and foundations across both traditional and alternative investments. He began his career at SEI Investments, where he spent more than a decade in senior leadership roles in the U.S. and U.K., helping build global investment strategies and asset allocation models used firmwide. After SEI, Mark moved into family office roles, allowing him to focus directly on advising private clients.

A CFA charterholder, Mark earned his degree from Boston College and studied international economics at the London School of Economics. He is actively involved in the community, serving as Chair of the Investment Committee and a Board Member of the Chester County Community Foundation, and as a Board Member of the British American Business Council of Philadelphia. Mark lives in Berwyn, Pennsylvania, with his wife, Claudette, and their two children.
