On Thursday, December 11, 2025, we hosted our Signature Annual Holiday Luncheon at the Crystal Tea Room in Philadelphia. This year’s theme focused on the powerful convergence of media and technology across the Atlantic. In 2025 and beyond, this fusion is transforming how we communicate, innovate, and shape global society. From advertising and entertainment to finance and information, media is not only driving economic growth, it is fueling transparency, job creation, and market evolution. The future is now, and the future is tech! Technology is rapidly reshaping the way we live, work, and engage with the world. Artificial intelligence and digital innovation are revolutionizing industries, creating smarter solutions and more personalized experiences. The organizations that embrace this change will be the ones leading tomorrow. Keynote speakers and special guests discussed the legacy and future of 250 years of US/UK relations and provided a look ahead to the world we are creating together.

Approximately 150 guests gathered for this celebration featuring insightful presentations by our distinguished presenters: Zac Taormina, President of the BABCPHL and Regional Operations Director of Clean Air for the US at Johnson Matthey; Tiffany W. Thurman, Chief of Staff, Office of Mayor Cherelle L. Parker, City of Philadelphia; Alan Gogbashian, Deputy Trade Commissioner for North America, British Consulate-General in New York; Bret Perkins, Senior Vice President of External & Government Affairs, Comcast Corporation; Rick Siger, Secretary, Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development; Leon J. Dutkiewicz Jr., Partner and International Tax Practice Leader, Citrin Cooperman Advisors LLC; Lakshman Amaranayaka, Vice President of PHL Operations, American Airlines; and Gregg Caren, President and CEO, Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau. Zac and Howard Silverstone, President Emeritus, BABCPHL, ended the program with special recognition of outgoing Executive Director, Jane H. Rosenberg, who spoke for a few minutes about her 15-year tenure. Howard concluded the event with the much anticipated annual business card raffle gift and silent auction drawing for American Airlines AAdvantage miles for a pair of round-trip, Business Class tickets on American Airlines’ award-winning, non-stop service from Philadelphia International Airport to London.

We extend heartfelt thanks to our special guests and keynote speakers; to our Exclusive Airline Sponsor American Airlines; Lead Sponsor Citrin Cooperman; Premium Sponsors Baker Tilly, BusinessPA, EisnerAmper, Johnson Matthey, and Philadelphia Convention & Visitors Bureau; and to all our Corporate Table Supporters and Raffle Donors. This event would not have been possible without their generous support. We are deeply grateful to all our members and guests for making this annual celebration a success.
