British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia Club Level member Faegre Drinker is hosting a timely online seminar for the transatlantic business community about one of today’s greatest challenges– global mobility. This one-hour session led by Claire Nilson and Sari Long will deliver valuable information about US and UK immigration matters, including sponsoring employees for work authorization such as temporary work visas and permanent residence; creating opportunities for global workforce flexibility; and staying current on Form I-9 and worksite compliance issues specific to business immigration , and licensing applications. Presenters will discuss critical issues that focus on immigration basics and hot topics, and what to expect for the future of immigration under the new US administration.
Relocating employees across borders is increasingly complicated and costly. Immigration is particularly nuanced, especially in the current environment. Hiring global talent, facilitating hybrid/remote work, and staying compliant are continued challenges for HR, legal and other corporate personnel working on immigration and global mobility issues.
