Charlotte 2025 Conference: Focus on the Future: Navigating the Demands of Tomorrow’s World
The 2025 conference will hear from industry experts, thought leaders and champions of industry who will discuss, amongst other things, technological advancements in critical industry cross-sections that may have potentially challenging growth impacts for expansion trajectories in tomorrow’s world. Some topics identified for discussion: AI, sustainability and green finance, circular economies, harnessing the power of solar, wind and hydrogen energy, AR and its use in healthcare, health tech and telemedicine, cybersecurity, autonomous vehicles, upskilling and adapting new roles as advanced technologies evolve. What are the ethical considerations and privacy challenges? The safeguards and critical infrastructure that need to be in place? How do non-tech executives navigate the landscape and lead by example?

The British-American Business Network
The British-American Business Network (BABN) is the largest transatlantic business network, with 20 chapters, and over 2,000 member companies based in major business centers throughout North American and the United Kingdom. Its membership includes many of the world’s largest multinationals, as well as hundreds of middle-market and smaller companies.
The Conference
Each year, the BABN brings together members of all 23 chapters throughout the US, UK and Canada for a 3-day conference. The aim is to convene a senior level business executives and government representatives actively involved in trade, investment and business flows between the UK and US. This conference is by invitation only and for members of the BABN chapters and offers a series of roundtables, plenary sessions and networking receptions for over 150 guests.
