Dear BABCPHL Members and Friends,
It has been an emotional couple of weeks as the world mourns the death of Her Majesty the Queen. The British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia expresses condolences to the Royal Family, the British and Commonwealth people.
Queen Elizabeth’s passing marks the end of an era. Her 70-plus year reign took place during a tumultuous time in history. We are indebted to Her Majesty for her many years of dedicated service characterized by grace, dignity, and stability. If you would like to submit a message to the book of condolences, please visit www.royal.gov.uk.
Queen Elizabeth, King George, as well as other members of the Royal Family have visited Philadelphia throughout the years. The UK and our region have a special bond. The BABCPHL prides itself on fostering valuable business connections between the two nations to strengthen transatlantic trade. We are grateful to Great Britain for a steadfast partnership, and we look forward to enhancing our ties during the new reign of King George III.
BABCPHL busy season has commenced! We hope you will join us in-person and virtually for our global travel update in October, a happy hour networking event in November, and our signature annual holiday luncheon in December, including several other programs in between from now through the end of the calendar year. Please visit our website frequently for current event information and registration links.
Sincerely,
Nick Lotz
