The UK government has made a number of important updates recently relating to right to work checks, with further change set to take place from the 1 September 2021. On the 31 August, the temporary concessions introduced during the pandemic, which enable employers to perform right to work checks virtually, will cease to apply.

This webinar will mainly focus on the recent changes to the way in which EU citizens prove their right to work in the UK following the closure of the EU Settlement Scheme to most applications on the 30 June. Employers will receive advice and guidance around key areas of concern such as what to do if you discover an employee has not applied to the EU Settlement Scheme.

Businesses will also have the opportunity to ask any questions relating to the new UK immigration system.
