Philadelphia International Airport, the region’s largest economic engine, hosts British American Business Council 25th anniversary recognizing US/UK trade relations special guest Mayor Kenney delivers keynote remarks

The British American Business Council (BABC) of Greater Philadelphia, one of the region’s leading global organizations celebrates 25 years of serving the international business community by promoting the trade and commercial relationship between the United Kingdom and the Greater Philadelphia area.  On Wednesday, May 18th from 6-8:00 pm at the American Airlines Hangar at Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) Mayor Kenney will deliver keynote remarks about the important economic ties between the Greater Philadelphia region and the UK. For a quarter century the BABC has helped local and UK companies succeed and grow business.  The UK is the largest international passenger and cargo market for the Greater Philadelphia region.  Lead sponsors of this milestone event are: American Airlines, Duane Morris LLP, McConnell Johnson Real Estate LLC, OTG, The Welsh Government, and Yards Brewing Company.  The maintenance hangar will welcome 200 leading international business executives, and UK and regional government leaders.  Networking, dinner and drinks will be served under the body of an Airbus A330.  Attendees will be able to board the plane and explore the hangar.  Raffle and gift donations will be given and a portion of event revenue will go to the Philadelphia Youth Network.
