On Wednesday, July 23, 2014, the British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia collaborated with the Chilean, French, German, Irish, Italian, Norwegian, and Philadelphia-Israel Chambers of Commerce along with the Japan America Society, and Mid-Atlantic Russia Business Council for an exclusive networking event with the Deputy Mayor of Philadelphia, Alan Greenberger. More than 250 guests filled the room to capacity at the Hyatt at the Bellevue in Center City Philadelphia, enjoying endless networking, delicious food, and wine.
In its fourth year, the reception sponsored by Santander Bank celebrated Philadelphia as an international melting pot of economic and business development. Deputy Mayor Greenberger spoke about attracting new businesses to Philadelphia and helping promote our City. He is committed to international business, and is a strong supporter of the chambers operating in our region. Alan was appointed a Director of International Business Investment within the Commerce Department, and has traveled across the world to promote Philadelphia and attract new investment. Deputy Mayor Greenberger and his team are prodigious supporters of the BABC.
