Dear BABC Members and Friends,
Happy New Year! It is an honor to address you for the first time as President of the BABC. I recently took over from Hope Krebs, who led the organization for more than two years through successful programs and events, membership growth, and the development of our young professionals group. This is just to mention a few of her many accomplishments and contributions. We are grateful to Hope for her outstanding leadership and contribution to the BABC.
The New Year brings with it change and new programs as well. I am pleased to highlight the BABC’s redesigned website, launched earlier this month. Take a moment to enjoy the streamlined, easy to navigate site. Facilities are integrated allowing visitors to: register for events; view photos from past activities and find links to important business and government services for organizations in the UK and the US. You can also link-up to our social media sites, where you can find current information about the BABC and important news affecting business on both sides of the Atlantic.
I look forward to welcoming you to our upcoming programs and to working with you during the coming months to ensure the BABC continues to add value to your organization and play an ever growing role in our community. Wishing you all good things as 2014 is off to a running start.
