The Hub at the Cira Centre, Philadelphia
On Monday, July 16, 2012 the British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia collaborated with the Chilean, French, German, Irish, Israeli, Japanese, and Swedish American Chambers of Commerce for a business networking reception with the Mayor of Philadelphia, Michael A. Nutter. More than 300 professionals representing the international business community including Consular Corp members, and local and foreign Government Officials attended this special event.
Mayor Nutter discussed his strategic interest and focus on new investment and commercial trade interaction between Philadelphia and the rest of the world. He highlighted his plan to undertake several trade missions during his second term, with the end goal of attracting additional foreign investment and creating jobs in our region. This effort will maintain Philadelphia as a top US destination for foreign direct investment and commercial trade.
