The British American Business Council along with other participating international organizations welcomed the CEO of HSBC North America Holdings, Brendan McDonagh for a program on Wednesday, April 21, 2010 at The Union League of Philadelphia.
At the reception, Mr. McDonagh greeted guests and shared his insight on how the region will be influenced by the forces affecting the global economy. His presentation was a dynamic dialogue with the attendees, who posed important questions regaring specific industry issues. Mr. McDonagh candidly responded to all questions.
In his role at HSBC, Mr. McDonagh is responsible for the Group’s banking and consumer finance operations in the United States and Canada. He is also a Group Managing Director for HSBC Holdings plc, appointed to this role in 2008, and is a member of the HSBC Group Management Board.
