Back by popular demand, the Fifth Annual (In-Person) Tastes of Chocolate and Beer from Around the World, on February 16 from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Presented by WTC Delaware member United Cocoa Processor (UCP) Newark and Midnight Oil Brewing, the event will feature hand-crafted chocolates from cocoa beans sourced from around the world paired with specially selected beers made on-site in Midnight Oil’s brewery. A buffet dinner will also be served.

Be sure to stay after the World Trade Center Delaware Chocolate and Beer event to participate in the Midnight Oil Brewing “bingo” games.

US Customs – Protecting Imports

This event is being offered by the French-American Chamber of Commerce in partnerships with the British, German, Chilean-, and Eurasian-American Chambers of Commerce.

This is one of three events focused on customs and immigration. This program will cover imports and the counterfeit and illegal goods seized by U.S. Customs Agents.

Scottish North American Business Council Trade Mission to Greater Philadelphia

Sunday – Thursday, May 14 – 18

The Scottish North American Business Council is leading a trade mission to Pennsylvania and surrounding areas for businesses interested in exploring opportunities to expand their international trade activities. Delegates will meet with public and private sector stakeholders across the City of Philadelphia, the State of Pennsylvania, and potentially neighboring States as well.

The goal of this in-person mission is to create mutually beneficial opportunities for companies in both Scotland and our region by:

  • Connecting businesses to potential partners;
  • Supporting delegates with their international ambitions; and
  • Representing Scottish businesses.

As part of the trade mission, delegates will receive market briefings on key opportunities in Greater Philadelphia, networking events with business organizations in Greater Philadelphia and a series of one-to-one business meetings with potential clients or trade partners, based on individual requirements.
