Happy new year! January is well underway, and we are actively embarking on a new calendar year of operations. I am pleased to be returning to the role of President for a third, non-consecutive term.
Michael Jordan once said, “Obstacles don’t have to stop you. If you run into a wall, don’t turn around and give up. Figure out how to climb it, go through it, or work around it.” In his role as my predecessor, Nick Lotz expertly guided us around and through challenges posed by the pandemic and enabled us to emerge in a position of strength. We are grateful to Nick for his steadfast leadership and getting us around so many obstacles.
I invite you to read about our recent events and mark your diaries with the dates for our upcoming programs. We are offering a dynamic series of educational events along with many opportunities to network during the coming weeks and months. We look forward to your active engagement. As with any organization, you will get out of it, what you put into it. Also, I am honored to introduce you to my colleagues who are serving on the 2023 BABCPHL Executive Committee alongside me. 2022 ended on a high note with the return of our Signature Annual Holiday Luncheon. Special thanks to our members and supporters for enabling us to ring in the holiday season and celebrate the strength of the US-UK relationship. We are excited to launch a new year of operations and to assist you in growing your business throughout the transatlantic corridor.
