On Thursday, May 11, 2023, the British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia hosted the 12th Annual New Jersey Networking Event & Dinner at the British Chip Shop in Haddonfield. A spirited group of BABCPHL members and non-members gathered for this signature event to network, win raffle prizes and enjoy tasty food and drink. The evening featured traditional British pub food including Sausage Rolls, Welsh rarebit, Fish & Chips, Bangers & Mash, Minced Beef & Onion Pie, and Chicken Tikka & Rice, and a choice of Sticky Toffee Pudding with Custard or Sugar-Crusted Apple Pie with Custard for dessert. Entire, Nuova Bonta, Ample Vengeance, and King’s Gold Lager were the specialty brews provided by The King’s Road Brewery.
BABCPHL President, Howard Silverstone was the Master of Ceremonies, leading the evening with jokes that kept everyone engaged and entertained. Howard introduced and thanked sponsors, Forensic Resolutions, Eisner Advisory Group, and Johnson Kendall & Johnson. Before inviting people to choose their seats for dinner, there was a business card raffle draw for generous gifts donated by The British Chip Shop, The King’s Road Brewery, and The Philadelphia Union.
