The British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia emerging leader/next-gen program at the Trestle Inn on Thursday, October 20th was a success! We were thrilled to welcome regionally based young professionals to attend this fun, low stakes, social introductory evening, the first of its kind since before the pandemic. The objective of the event was to introduce regional professionals from both the public and private sectors who work within the transatlantic business corridor. Attendees learned more about the Organization and how they can help create and influence meaningful activities geared toward future success.
Jane Rosenberg, Executive Director, BABCPHL; Ian Cross, Marketing & Communications Chairman, BABCPHL and Proprietor, The Trestle Inn; and Jason Walker, Treasurer, BABCPHL and Managing Partner, Cross Border Financial Planning USA spoke briefly about the Organization and invited attendees to go around the room and introduce themselves. Each person had the opportunity to talk about who they are, what they do, and their interest in being a part of the BABCPHL.
This gathering offered a great chance to network with like-minded professionals looking to develop new contacts and become involved in the regional international business scene. It also served as an introduction to everything the BABCPHL has to offer the next generation of business leaders operating in the transatlantic market.
It was wonderful to greet many enthusiastic, eager to network rising star professionals for a lively evening of in-person introductions and mingling. The consensus was that just being together, networking face-to-face was exactly what is most desired!
Comp cover, drink tickets and snacks were included, along with a business card raffle draw for prizes at the end of the evening.
