This bespoke half day course is to help businesses and their staff understand the different areas of risks of International Trade and therefore be in a position to make informed decisions as to the risk it is prepared to take with different aspects of exporting and/or importing and where possible reduce/mitigate them .
This will suit experienced staff as a refresher/reminder as well as less experienced staff as an education/ to improve their understanding of the International Trade world.
The Course would also be useful for business decision makers who are perhaps looking into Exporting or new to it but also businesses who already regularly export but might welcome handy tips on when trading in International markets. Team members in finance and sales would also find this course useful.
The Course spends time on the different Risks and covers:
- Country and Political Risk
- Commercial Risk
- Logistics Risk
- Foreign Exchange Risk
- Financial Risk ( includes Funding options )
The course will also cover how important it is for a business to understand and use the agreed Incoterm and its implications for the exporter/importer if not used correctly. Information on how this can be the root of problems as the transaction progresses especially during goods movement and Customs clearance will be discussed.
The cost for Members is £115 + VAT and for Non – Members is £175 + VAT.
