The federal government is intervening in unprecedented ways in every sector of the American economy as Congress and the White House respond to the impact of COVID-19. Yet, at this critical moment, the realities of social distancing have made it more challenging to communicate directly with policymakers who want to understand how this crisis has harmed industries and businesses across the country. Arnold & Porter is launching a series of interactive conversations to provide the opportunity for members to meet and speak with key national leaders and decisionmakers.
US Representative Stephanie Murphy (D-FL) is a member of the House of Representatives Ways and Means Committee, which has jurisdiction over tax, healthcare and trade issues in the House. She also serves as the co-chair of the Blue Dog Coalition and is a member of the bipartisan Problem Solvers Caucus.
