In light of the ongoing developments surrounding the COVID-19 virus, including current Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommendations, the Philadelphia Union Foundation’s Legends of Soccer Benefit has been rescheduled for Wednesday, October 7th.
We appreciate the understanding of our honorees, sponsors, and guests and look forward to hosting this event in the fall. Please feel free to contact Paul Howard directly with any questions.
In the meantime, be safe, keep healthy and let’s all do our bit for the greater good.
As a wise man told me yesterday: “Football is a game of two halves, and so will be 2020!” Can’t wait to celebrate with you in October.
Legends of Soccer – presented by an active BABCPHL member, the Philadelphia Union Foundation – will celebrate the best of soccer in our great city. This evening will bring together the soccer communities from grassroots through to Major League Soccer and the US National Team, while raising vital funds for the foundation.
Attendees, honored guests, and corporate partners will enjoy a cocktail reception, an onstage show hosted by Robbie Earle and Robbie Mustoe and a three-course meal. This evening is in supports of the Philadelphia Union Foundation’s mission to leverage the power of soccer to create opportunity and to transform lives. The 2020 honoree is Carli Lloyd.
