Happy New Year! Our fiscal year ends on June 30, and we had a remarkable 12 months with record breaking activity. The BABCPHL provided a wide variety of programs and events, including life sciences conferences in collaboration with the Department for International Trade, technical seminars about changes in UK policy and financial issues and other important matters affecting transatlantic business. We were fortunate to welcome the Welsh Minister for International Relations; the US Envoy for the Department for International Trade London; the Brexit Counsellor from the British Embassy in Washington, D.C.; and Her Majesty’s Ambassador to the United States, for VIP events in Philadelphia throughout the year. Networking opportunities were aplenty, enabling our members to create valuable connections.
