The Pennsylvania Department of Community & Economic Development is organizing a series of business development events in conjunction with the Philadelphia Orchestra’s European Tour between May 26 and June 5, 2015. They are working closely with a number of partners from across Pennsylvania on making this a successful mission for the entire Commonwealth. Six European cities that offer the strongest opportunities for business development have been selected: Berlin and Dortmund (Germany); Lyon (France); Vienna (Austria); Amsterdam (Netherlands) and London (UK). A Pennsylvania business development seminar and networking reception will take place in each city. The objectives of these meetings are to:
- Attract European investment to PA;
- Promote exports of PA products and services to Europe; and
- Promote PA as a destination for European tourists and students.
A select number of VIP business contacts will be invited as special guests of the Orchestra to each concert.
