On the evening of Friday, July 25, 2014, the British American Business Council of Greater Philadelphia collaborated with the Philadelphia Union on a VIP cocktail networking reception and friendly match game-watching event between the Union and the Crystal Palace Football Club of South Norwood, London, one of England’s premier league teams. Between great food and drinks catered by Ovations and networking that didn’t stop for nearly four hours, the event was nothing short of fabulous. With an appearance from the Deputy Mayor, Alan Greenberger, and great connections made among more than forty invited guests who filled the Owner’s Suite, the event was a huge success for all who participated.
Philadelphia Union’s executive team is an outstanding supporter of BABC activities. Recently, Nick Sackiewicz, CEO and Operating Partner of Keystone Sports & Entertainment – the ownership group of the Philadelphia Union – was a special guest panelist on the BABC’s Economics & Implications of the World Cup discussion.
With great weather and the picturesque location of PPL Park, the stadium glowed. Everyone was truly satisfied when the night came to an end.
Many thanks to Nick Sackiewicz and his team for inviting us for a truly first class soccer experience and an unforgettable evening.
