We are the Philadelphia branch of the international youth development program founded by Prince Philip in 1957. Through this program, medalists 14-25 years old set personal goals in four pillars: Skills, Sports, Community Service and an Adventurous Journey. Those involved gain self-confidence, learn the value of commitment to achievement, make new friends, and contribute to their community. Research documents that the DOE Award enhances college applications and is highly valued in hiring by employers.
