Dear BABC Members and Friends,
We are delighted to launch Brit Invasion 2013 on Thursday, March 7th from 11:30 am – 2:00 pm during a very special program: British Business in Bloom: A Brilliant! Opportunity to Network, Learn, Dine and Visit the 2013 Philadelphia Flower Show.
The BABC is honored to support the Pennsylvania Horticultural Society (PHS) on its 184th Philadelphia Flower Show, this year featuring the sophisticated design sense of London. You will be beckoned to enjoy British heritage and culture right here in downtown Philadelphia by over 10 acres of traditional British icons including the Royal Palace gates and a sculptural digitally enhanced, sound and light show rendition of Big Ben. There will be something for everyone – the Mad Hatter’s Tea Party, Sgt. Pepper’s Band, Jack the Ripper’s Whitechapel, a floral presentation of the Crown Jewels, a cricket club, London streetscapes, cottage gardens, etc.
